Is there an indoor area?
The whole venue is an OUTDOOR experience. However, if there is inclement weather, the bar is covered from rain and folks can also use The Greenhouse Bar for rain cover.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, as long as the dog is well-behaved and remains on a leash at all times.
What should I wear?
Remember that you are visiting a working farm. We highly recommend not wearing sandals or high heels. You will want to walk around the farm when you get here. Dress as you might for a jaunt at a nature preserve.
Can kids come?
Absolutely! Please bring sunscreen and bug repellent for the kiddos. Also feel free to bring a blanket, picnic, and whatever non-alcoholic drinks the family needs.
Do you serve food?
We sure do! The Truck serves food during all of our open hours.
Do you take credit cards?
We accept all major credit cards as well as cash. No checks please.
What type of restrooms do you have?
We have portable restrooms with an outdoor handwashing station.
Do you serve beverages other than beer?
We serve hard cider, sodas, and bottled water in addition to our draft beer.
Do you sell beer to-go?
Yes! You can buy any of our bottles to take home with you.
Where can I stay?
Forest Glen Preserve is only 8 miles from the farm and they offer overnight campsites at very reasonable rates. Kickapoo and Kenekkuk parks are also within a half-hour drive. There are also hotels in Danville (about 20 minutes).
